20 Random facts about me

I just came up with this idea and thought it would be fun. Also it gives you guys a way to get to know me better. (I guess)

  1. I had braces as a teen. I thought they were cool at first but then I had them tightened right before Thanksgiving and I couldn’t eat anything because my mouth was so sore.
  2. I’m 4’10” tall. I stopped growing at 14 or so my mom tells me. I’m the shortest in my family.
  3. My favorite bird is the hummingbird. I think they are so beautiful.
  4. I have no pinkie toe nail. Really random I know. I guess it is genetic because my mom doesn’t have one either.
  5. I absolutely love Pepsi, it is my favorite soda.
  6. I can’t stand the taste of tap water. I have to drink bottled or filtered water.
  7. My favorite candy is sweet and sour Twizzlers.
  8. I had eye surgery when I was 2 to correct my lazy eye.
  9. I was raised around cats, but I like dogs better.
  10. I’m the 4th child of my dad’s 6 and the first of my mom’s 3. I’m the only girl.
  11. My favorite color is blue.
  12. I was raised listening to The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimmy Hendrix. I still love listening to them.
  13. I love all kinds of music except ICP, Rap and Screamo.
  14. My dad and I used to dance together all the time to the song Brown eyed girl.
  15. My dad passed away when I was 17. Hardest moment of my teenage life.
  16. I have always wanted to travel to Europe and Asia.
  17. My favorite chick flick is The Notebook.
  18. I have read all the Harry Potter books as well as the Twilight series.
  19. I used to be in a swing dancing club when I was in high school.
  20. I am a horrible procrastinator. (Aren’t we all?)

    It would seem that we have a lot in common. I am also a shorty (4’11″). In fact, 1-6 and 12 – 20 all apply to me except that I was older when I lost my Dad. I was 26. I don’t think it ever gets any easier no matter what your age though.

    I doesn’t get easier when you lose a parent, but it doesn’t hurt as bad. It’s nice to know that there’s someone out there who has things in common with me. 🙂
